Oft' I Ponder

Neither trite, nor strife.
Neither trifle, nor vengeance.
Not of anger or despair,
Not unfair and not disdain.
Not of trouble, or of pain.
Such it is not.
But of penance and of hope,
Of truth, apology and love.
And of gentleness it is.
